Morning sun illuminates the varied colors of Little Painted Desert near Winslow, AZ
Winslow is a town which became famous for the song “Take it easy” by Eagles, is a very quaint town in close to a county park named Little Painted Desert. As its aptly named, the desert really comes alive at sunrise/sunset light. One can easily drive down to this park. But to really capture its beauty, a drone definitely helps. I’m not sure if hiking is allowed, but I did see some trails, so that is something I need to check out. But due to the sheer size of this area and the formations, I think exploring the region from a drone would be a lot easier.
As you can see from the above image, the area is quite huge and lot of dirt roads to explore.
