A beautiful rental place in Dusmuir, CA
We wanted to finish the winter season with another trip to a snowy place and decided to head to Mt Shasta. The usual protocol is that we look for a rental place which can accommodate 4 families. We found this beautiful place in Dusmuir which is very close to Mt Shasta. All of us had a great time at this place and it was worth the drive to it.
Unlike prior times, I don’t expect to return with any keepers. In fact, I hardly go out for shooting. But I still do lug my gear to every trip we make…just in case I manage to get out and get some good light. With this one, the light was just gorgeous not to head out. A quick walk around this rental place gave me at least 2 keepers 🙂
This image was edited completely in Lightroom; from start to finish. Didn’t even take it Photoshop. Another thing to note is that the editing was done while commuting on an office shuttle and using only the laptop’s trackpad. Either Lightroom’s capabilities have improved drastically or my standards have come down. Either way, I’m happy with the way this turned out.
