Have been very busy doing a lot of things…(but if you ask me to list them, then I’m no good). So bottom line, have been wasting time doing things which I don’t know why am I even into it.
In between had to upgrade a 9.2.0.6 to 10g R1. Found a checklist on MetaLink. Pretty good checklist for a manual upgrade. The part which I liked was the tip on improving the time for the actual upgrade by pre-collecting the stats on the sys objects. Since the window for upgrade was very short for me, this tip really helped in reducing the time for the upgrade. A very good note to have in handy.
I’m hoping to get some time during this weekend to finish on my benchmarking. Also no cricket matches (yet) for this weekend 🙂
I bet you’re feeling like a fish out of water thanks to no Cricket! 🙂
