Mt Shasta captured in midday sun
While driving to Klamath Falls, there are so many locations that you can view Mt Shasta from. I’ve got some shots in different places but on this occasion, I had to pull over as the drama of light and clouds were too much to resist.
It would be very interesting to capture this mountain from all possible angles and this is also a place visited by my family very frequently. So I just have to keep taking these shots and hopefully in some years, will have a nice collection of this beautiful mountain.
Nice! You should also get one with that spiral cloud formation 🙂 Not sure when that phenomena occurs.
yeah, those are called lenticular clouds and they form when the moisture begins to increase, mostly in winter. Have to be at the time to capture 🙂
